The other half of the math: waste removal is one of the few line items a surgery center pays for by the pound. Devices are dense, regulated, and expensive to haul — which makes them exactly the wrong thing to put in the red bag and exactly the right thing to sell.

Beyond the EP lab
The calculator covers the EP categories with published market prices, but the buyback list is longer — including peripheral devices like Turbo Elite™ laser atherectomy catheters and Shockwave™ IVL catheters. If your center does vascular, cardiology, or general surgery cases, send the list and we’ll price everything that qualifies.

Where these numbers come from
Device rates are the published buyback price lists of EP Reward and Elite Cardiology Group (collected July 2026) — the going market rates for these categories. Waste-cost figures come from published disposal-vendor pricing (MedPro, TriHaz, TruMed) and Practice Greenhealth’s 2024 benchmark data. Your ASC Sustain quote is itemized per device.
